Job summary

CBI Health in Ottawa, ON is seeking a Registered Kinesiologist to join our interdisciplinary team at the St. Laurent clinic. This full‑time role focuses on exercise therapy to improve outcomes, return‑to‑work goals, and client engagement across rehabilitation stages.

You will work with a physiotherapist/occupational therapist, design therapeutic programs, and complete essential assessments while contributing to a supportive patient‑centered environment.

Qualifications

• A degree in Kinesiology or Human Kinetics.
• Registration in good standing with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Empathy with an effective ability to build rapport with patients.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience in interdisciplinary care is considered an asset.
• Experience with chronic pain, concussion management and chronic conditions is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Treat MVA, LTD, WSIB and private patients in a gym setting.
• Work under the direction of the Physiotherapist and/or Occupational Therapist in matters regarding treatment, progression of treatment and management of the client.
• Design and implement a therapeutic exercise program to meet the identified client needs.
• Complete employer assessments such as PDA, POET and FAE to confirm job capability of essential job demands.
• Prepare progress and discharge reports delegated by the treating clinician.
• Assist the treating clinician with return to work planning.
• Ensure the gym area is presentable, organized and free of obvious safety hazards.
