Job summary

BrightPath Kids is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Early Childhood Educator at our Eglinton, ON centre. You will develop and implement a program aligned with BrightPath’s curriculum, maintain a safe, clean classroom, monitor children’s development, and collaborate with families and co-workers to support each child’s growth.

Requirements include RECE in good standing with the Ontario College of ECE, Current First Aid and infant CPR, and up-to-date immunizations and health assessment.

• Province requirements for childcare employment
• Current Standard First Aid and infant CPR
• Current immunization and health assessment as per local health requirements

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing a program in line with BrightPath's curriculum that supports the development of children.
• Maintaining an environment that protects the well-being of children.
• Assessing the abilities, interests, and needs of children and discussing progress with parents and other staff.
• Establishing collaborative relationships with co-workers, management, and families.
• Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities as necessary.
• Working to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
• Other duties as assigned.
