Job summary

Little George’s Child Care Centre is seeking a passionate educator to create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for children. You will promote socialization, enhance learning, and support development in a play-based, emergent setting.

The role requires CECE registration or an equivalent credential, and a commitment to strong communication, teamwork, and up-to-date immunizations and screenings. Immunizations and First Aid with CPR Level C are expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education with CECE registration, or
• Diploma/degree in Child and Youth Care, recreation and leisure services, with OCT where applicable.

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about creating a safe and inclusive environment for children, who will encourage socialization, enhance learning, and who have strong programming skills in a play-based, emergent environment.

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

Education Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education and registration with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE); or,
• Diploma or degree in child and youth care, recreation and leisure services, or a member in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) will be considered where applicable

Skills/ Abilities:

• Have excellent communication skills (verbal/written)
