Job summary

BrightPath Kids Inc. is seeking a Registered Early Childhood Educator to work alongside teachers and families, providing a nurturing home-away-from-home for children in our care.

You will implement BrightPath's curriculum, maintain a safe, clean classroom, assess children's progress, and collaborate with staff. Benefits include childcare discounts, tuition reimbursement, RRSP match, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• RECE must be in good standing with the Ontario College of ECE.
• Meet provincial childcare employment requirements.
• Current Standard First Aid and infant CPR are required.
• Current immunization and health assessment per local health requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a program aligned with BrightPath's curriculum to support child development.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment that protects children's well‑being.
• Assess children's abilities and needs; discuss progress with parents and staff.
• Foster collaborative relationships with colleagues, management, and families.
• Attend staff meetings and pursue professional development as needed.
• Assist with classroom materials organization and other duties as assigned.

What will you be doing?

As a Registered Early Childhood Educator, you will work side-by-side with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care.

• Developing and implementing a program in line with BrightPath's curriculum that supports the development of children.
• Maintaining an environment that protects the well-being of children.
• Assessing the abilities, interests, and needs of children and discuss progress with parents and other staff.
• Establishing collaborative relationships with co-workers, management, and families.
• Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities as necessary.
• Working to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• RegisteredEarly Childhood Educator (RECE) - must be a member in good standing with the Ontario College of ECE
• Must meet province requirements for childcare employment

• Current immunization and health assessment as per the local Minister of Health Requirements
