Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Mill Street, ON is seeking a Registered Early Childhood Educator to join our nurturing team. You will work alongside teachers and families to provide a home away from home, implementing BrightPath's curriculum and supporting children's development.

The role requires RECE with good standing in Ontario, 2+ years experience, standard First Aid and infant CPR, and a commitment to health and safety. We offer benefits, paid holidays, and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) must be in good standing with the Ontario College of ECE.
• Must meet province requirements for childcare employment.
• Current Standard First Aid and infant child CPR.
• Current immunization and health assessment as per local health requirements.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing a program aligned with BrightPath's curriculum to support children's development.
• Maintaining a safe and clean classroom environment.
• Assessing abilities, interests, and needs of children and discussing progress with parents and staff.
• Establishing collaborative relationships with coworkers, management and families.
• Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

What will you be doing?

As a Registered Early Childhood Educator, you will work side-by-side with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care.

• Developing and implementing a program in line with BrightPath's curriculum that supports the development of children.
• Maintaining an environment that protects the well-being of children.
• Assessing the abilities, interests, and needs of children and discuss progress with parents and other staff.
• Establishing collaborative relationships with co-workers, management, and families.
• Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities as necessary.
• Working to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
• Other duties as assigned.
