Job summary

Davis Orthodontics in Toronto, ON is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist with orthodontic experience to join our team.

You will provide dental hygiene services, assist with orthodontic procedures, and educate patients. We offer excellent hours with no evenings and a competitive compensation rate, along with a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities

• Take scans and x-rays as required.
• Coordinate charting procedures.
• Follow IPAC and Health & Safety policies.
• Other duties may be required.

Description

Are you interested in being a part of a team in the exciting and interesting field of orthodontics? We are currently seeking an RDH with must have ortho experience to join our team.

Ideal candidate will have a positive and enthusiastic demeanour and enjoy working with both children and adults.

Responsibilities

• Provide dental hygiene functions as directed by the doctor
• Clinical duties including bonding brackets, repositioning and repairing, changing wires, debonding brackets, removes excess cement, retainer insertions, retainer/appliance adjustments fits, and cements bands
• Provide patients with oral hygiene instruction
• Take scans, x-rays, intra-oral and extra-oral photos if required
• Coordinate charting procedures
• Follow clinical protocols including IPAC and Health & Safety policies
• Other duties may be required
