LifeSmiles Dental in Winnipeg area is seeking a Registered or Certified Dental Assistant to join our team. You will prepare treatment rooms, assist dentists during procedures, take X‑rays, and ensure patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities include instrument sterilization, chart updates, patient education, and supporting scheduling. We value teamwork, ongoing learning, and a patient‑first approach in a modern clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Registered or certified dental assistant with provincial regulatory body.
• Experience assisting dentists and hygienists is preferred.
• Strong patient communication and teamwork.

Your Role:

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment
• Assistdentists and hygienists during treatments,maintainingpatient comfort and workflow
• Take dental X-rays and digital images asrequired
• Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards
• Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care
• Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines
• Establish strong patient relationships whilemaintainingethical professional behaviour

About You:

• Registered and/orCertified as aDental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or associationisrequired
• Previousdentalassistingexperience is preferred
