Job summary

Demmings Dental Group in Fredericton, NB, is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant for part-time support. You will prepare treatment rooms, assist dentists and hygienists, take dental X-rays, perform instrument sterilization, update patient charts, and help with scheduling and patient flow.

Qualifications

• Registered as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body is required.
• NDAEB Certification.
• Previous dental assisting experience is preferred.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures.
• Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow.
• Take dental X-rays and digital images as required.
• Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards.
• Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
