Job summary

Northern Health - BC is seeking a Registered Care Aide to support residents with daily living activities and participate in a multidisciplinary care team.

You will perform nursing tasks such as taking temperature, pulse and respiration, assist with mobility, personal and recreational needs, and help with clerical duties as part of a rotating evening shift (16:30–21:00).

• Must have current registration with the BC Care Aide Registry.

In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate, the Registered Care Aide provides resident care in accordance with resident-centred care philosophy and established regional and facility policies and procedures. As part of the multidisciplinary team and under the direction of the Manager or designate, the Registered Care Aide performs nursing procedures such as taking temperature, pulse and respiration in addition to resident care duties relating to activities of daily living, including personal, social, physical and recreational needs. Transports residents and performs clerical duties.

Must have current registration with the BC Care Aide Registry

Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Evenings, 16:30 to 21:00 (rotating)
