Job summary

Northern Health in Fort St. John, BC is seeking a Registered Nurse to join an acute medical unit. The RN will assess, plan, provide, and evaluate nursing care for hospitalized patients, working with an interprofessional team.

You will contribute to a patient- and family-centered care model and ensure standards set by BC College of Nurses and Midwives are met, while supporting the community's healthcare goals.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed and in good standing with BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
• Nurses provide direct patient care in an acute medical unit.
• Collaborate with interprofessional care team in a patient- and family-centered care model.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care.
