Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. in Canada is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner to lead high-volume, full-cycle recruiting across British Columbia and Alberta, using creative sourcing, screening, and interview coordination to identify top talent for diverse branches.

You will partner with field operations leadership, design sourcing strategies, manage the candidate experience, schedule interviews (phone, virtual and in-person), and drive regional growth while ensuring compliance and strong stakeholder

Qualifications

1–3 years full-cycle recruitment experience.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in HR preferred.
Ability to travel; valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage full cycle recruiting by partnering with field operations leadership to forecast staffing needs.
Review and qualify resumes against role requirements; conduct preliminary interviews.
Facilitate and schedule phone, virtual, and in-person interviews.
Assist with candidate assessments, reference checks, and offers with compensation discussions.
Design innovative sourcing strategies and build robust talent pipelines.
Build partnerships with colleges, universities and external organizations to drive diverse talent pipelines.
Create, update and standardize recruitment documentation.
Oversee end-to-end recruitment projects and support internal transfers.
Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws within the region.
