Job summary

Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits (SGWS) is seeking a Sales Manager for the BC region to oversee the SGWS Legacy brands and drive regional sales strategies. You will lead a team of area managers and reps, design long- and short-term sales plans, and coordinate distribution across a large territory.

The role focuses on achieving company goals through effective team leadership, strategic planning, and strong relationships with key accounts and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus five years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three years of demonstrated management experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of area managers or sales reps; define expectations, monitor progress and counsel if needed.
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals.
• Direct sales development activity and coordinate sales distribution by establishing territories, quotas, and goals.
• Conduct sales meetings, product presentations, train, develop, and motivate the team.
• Call on key accounts in designated territory and work with sales management on overall strategies.
• Collaborate with key accounts to improve product distribution within set accounts.
• Align with supplier reps to understand brands, sales goals, and support market share growth.
