Avana is seeking an Area Manager to oversee a portfolio of 1,000–1,500 residential units across multiple communities. You will lead Property Managers, ensure adherence to policies, and balance strategic goals with day-to-day operations.

The role is on-site with regular Monday–Friday hours and cross-functional collaboration across departments. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in residential property management, strong leadership and budgeting skills, and a focus on resident experience.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in business or real estate preferred.
• Experience leading property management teams and portfolios.
• Strong communication and decision-making capabilities.

Responsabilités

• Direct and oversee daily operations of the residential portfolio.
• Lead Property Managers, set priorities, and ensure standards are met.
• Monitor resident experience, leasing activity, and lease renewals.
• Coordinate with Leasing, Maintenance, Marketing, and Finance.
• Review budgets, rent collection, and expenses; report to senior leadership.
