Job summary

Morguard in Ontario is seeking a Regional Maintenance Associate to join our team. You will perform general and specialized maintenance across a portfolio of buildings and apartment units, respond to emergencies after hours, and support a range of repairs to keep properties safe and welcoming.

The role requires at least 2 years of maintenance experience, a valid driver's license, and flexibility to work on-call evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Completion of High School or general education degree (GED).
• 2+ years of maintenance or related experience.
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
• Flexibility to work on-call on a rotating schedule (evenings & weekends).
• Proficient with basic handheld and electrical tools.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, drywall, carpentry, painting, etc.

Responsibilities

• Perform general and specialized maintenance and repairs to site properties.
• Complete in-suite turnover, including appliances and fixtures.
• Complete appliance repairs, routine plumbing repairs, basic carpentry, painting and electrical tasks.
• Inspect grounds, facilities, and equipment to determine maintenance needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and follow safety procedures.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies and coordinate with contractors.
