Job summary

Saskatchewan Distance Learning Centre (Sask DLC) seeks a permanent part-time Regional Online Learning Facilitator (ROLF) based in Yorkton. The role supports students in online programs, collaborating with teachers, administrators and parents to ensure successful learning experiences.

The candidate will manage administrative tasks, student records, and provide virtual meetings focused on organization, motivation, and academic progress while adapting to a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Typically, the knowledge and skills required for this position would be obtained through the successful completion of an Educational Assistant Certificate or Diploma in combination with work experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook).
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and complete multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Administrative and Student Caseload Support: Seek support when needed and advocate for students.
• Create DLCgo accounts, request courses, and manage course selections and drops.
• Maintain accurate student records and progress reports.
• Build strong relationships with students and parents/guardians to encourage learning.
• Address attendance issues and scheduling needs.
• Collaborate with Online Teachers, Learning Facilitators, AA, and Administrators.
