Base pay range

CA$100,000.00/yr - CA$130,000.00/yr

Our People & Culture Team manages recruitment, supports the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to development, compensation, benefits, health & safety, recognition, and career growth, while fostering an inclusive and respectful environment.

YOU ARE:

  • People-focused with strong partnership-building skills with Operations and team members through collaboration, positivity, and communication
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Self-motivated with ownership and accountability
  • Experienced in evolving HR practices and cultivating culture through initiatives
  • Well-versed in HR practices, employment laws, and regulations
  • An HR professional with at least 8 years of experience and CHRP designation
  • Experience with the US employment landscape is an asset

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Leading, mentoring, and developing P+C team members
  • Collaborating on strategies and projects aligning with company goals
  • Advising business partners and restaurant leaders on people-related matters
  • Handling employee relations with professionalism and confidentiality
  • Supporting onboarding, compensation, performance management, and training
  • Implementing regional performance appraisals
  • Analyzing regional trends and providing quarterly recommendations
  • Understanding federal and provincial employment regulations
