Job summary

Northview Residential REIT is seeking a Regional Manager for its Residential team in Dawson Creek, BC. You will oversee multiple multifamily properties, coordinate onsite staff, and collaborate with the Regional Director to optimize operations, budgeting, and NOI performance.

You will drive customer service excellence, manage rents and vacancies, and work with HR on payroll and employee relations. Strong leadership and budgeting skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years' management experience.
• Good customer service skills, a pleasant demeanor, and fluent English.
• Previous experience with budgets and financial reporting.
• Self-starter, independent, and committed to service delivery.
• Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Ability to hire and retain staff effectively.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work weekends/on-call as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, manage, and support onsite staff to ensure efficient operation of portfolio.
• Report to the Regional Director, providing various reports as required.
• Work with Human Resources for employee relations and payroll.
• Manage rent, vacancy, and rental incentives & provide direction and follow-up.
• Ensure strong customer service to residents while minimizing delinquency.
• Maintain good relations with customers and contractors.
• Develop and implement marketing plans to maximize rental income.
• Conduct property inspections and monitor fuel and utilities.
• Collaborate with facilities on capital expenditures and long-term improvements.
• Review NOI and manage operating costs; help develop portfolio budgets.
• Assist in office administration and leasing of suites as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with bylaws, codes, and property standards.
• Other special projects and duties as assigned.

We are looking for a Regional Manager to join our Residential team in Dawson Creek, BC. Reporting to the Regional Director, you will be key to ensuring that our portfolio of multifamily properties is being operated effectively and efficiently in their respective regions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, manage, and support onsite staff to ensure efficient operation of portfolio
• Report to the Regional Director, providing various reports as required
• Work closely with Human Resources for employee relations and payroll
• Manage rent, vacancy, and rental incentives & provide the team with direction and follow-up
• Ensure strong customer service to residents, while still minimizing delinquency
• Maintain and develop good relations with customers and contractors
• Develop and implement marketing plans to maximize rental income
• Conduct property inspections, and monitor fuel and utility consumption
• Work directly with the facilities team, regarding building capital expenditures and establishing long-term capital improvement programs for the portfolio
• Review NOI on all properties and ensure effective expense control and manage operating costs
• Develop and manage portfolio budget
• Assist in office administration and leasing of suites, as necessary
• Understand and meet federal, provincial, and local bylaws, codes and property standards
• Other special projects and duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum three years' management experience, ideally in residential or building management
• Good customer service skills, a pleasant demeanor, and the ability to speak and write English fluently
• Previous experience working with, managing, and creating budgets
• Able to work independently, is a self-starter, and takes pride in the delivery of services
• Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Possess the ability to make good hiring decisions and to manage and retain employees
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work weekends and on-call when necessary
