Job summary

Avenue Living Residential is seeking a Regional Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance excellence across a designated portfolio in Western Canada. You will oversee Maintenance Associates and Building Operators, drive preventative maintenance, and ensure service delivery standards while partnering with RPMs and senior leadership.

You will champion safety, scalability, and asset preservation, guiding field teams toward standardized practices, cost control, and superior resident experiences.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years in multi-site residential or commercial maintenance leadership.
• Strong technical knowledge of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire safety, and structural elements.
• Proven ability to lead, train, and develop maintenance teams.
• Experience developing and delivering technical training programs.
• Demonstrated success managing budgets, vendors, and large volumes of work orders.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct leadership, coaching, and performance management to Maintenance Associates within the region.
• Provide ongoing field coaching, onboarding support, and operational guidance to strengthen regional capability.
• Assess competency levels and support ongoing skills development.
• Coordinate recruitment and hiring of Maintenance Associate roles.
• Foster a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to safety policies and regulations.
• Drive consistency in maintenance execution and asset preservation across the region.
• Monitor key performance indicators and manage vendor performance and spend.
