Job summary

Northern Health is seeking a Regional Lead, Research and Knowledge Translation, Long-Term Care to guide quality improvement, research, and knowledge translation across the LTC sector in NH. Qualifications

• Master's degree in a health care discipline or related social science field.
• Subject matter expert in quality improvement and research methodologies.
• 5–7 years of related experience in quality/process improvement and education, preferably in healthcare.
• Equivalent combination of education, training and experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Lead, cultivate, and facilitate quality improvement, research, and knowledge translation activities in LTC.
• Promote scholarly practice and evidence-informed decision-making across NH.
• Mentor and support individuals and teams in research activities and knowledge translation.
• Collaborate with provincial teams and health authorities to maximize province-wide research opportunities.
• Supervise research activities and manage partnerships and policy development.
