Job Description

The Regional HR Manager will oversee HR activities across multiple manufacturing sites in Eastern Canada, providing support and guidance to local HR Business Partners, managing employee & labour relations, training, organizational development, and coaching leaders to align with our strategy and culture. This role supports operations in eastern Ontario, Quebec, and Atlantic Canada, and can be based in Toronto with frequent travel.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and resolve employee relations issues in partnership with site leaders and HR Business Partners.
  • Support administration of the CBA and participate in union negotiations by providing HR data.
  • Collaborate with site leaders to implement HR solutions that improve manufacturing performance.
  • Partner with Corporate HR to execute and monitor corporate programs.
  • Equip managers with tools and training to enhance performance and develop individual plans.
  • Support talent review and succession planning with a consultative approach.
  • Develop and facilitate leadership training with Corporate Training.
  • Partner with recruiting to attract top talent and participate in local outreach.
  • Cultivate internal talent and assist in recruitment efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Communicate and apply company policies and Code of Conduct.
  • Provide feedback on corporate initiatives from site perspectives.
Candidate Profile
  • University degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
  • Experience in manufacturing or industry is an advantage.
  • 10+ years as an HR generalist or HR Business Partner.
  • Proficient in employment law and human rights legislation.
  • Bilingual in English and French.
  • Strong problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, HRIS, and database management.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
