Job summary

Lawson Sales is seeking a Delivery Driver to transport agricultural equipment to customer locations, job sites, and branch locations across the region. You will load/unload using forklifts or cranes, ensure proper load securement, and maintain accurate delivery records while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 3 driver’s license with Air Brake endorsement; Class 1 is an asset.
• Minimum 2 years of experience operating heavy trucks and hauling oversized or heavy equipment loads.
• Demonstrated knowledge of cargo securement standards and load securement regulations.
• Experience operating forklifts, flatdeck trucks, or crane/picker trucks; related certificates are an asset.
• Strong safety awareness with ability to follow procedures, rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Transport agricultural equipment and attachments to customer locations, job sites, and other branch locations as scheduled.
• Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and confirm quantities and condition against delivery documentation.
• Operate within delivery windows and communicate route changes to dispatch or branch staff.
• Obtain customer signatures and complete delivery records accurately.
• Assist in loading/unloading freight and support yard activities as needed.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report defects promptly.
