Job summary

Premier Equipment, the largest full-service John Deere dealership in Ontario, is seeking a Delivery Driver and Equipment Handler. You will safely pick up and deliver small agricultural, lawn, garden, landscaping and construction equipment to customers and job sites, handle related paperwork, and assist with light maintenance.

You will join a team that values dependable service, with the ability to work independently, manage time, and adapt to seasonal workloads.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service with a professional, courteous attitude.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Experience operating forklifts, lawn and garden equipment, small agricultural machinery, and construction equipment.
• Competence in managing paperwork and processes related to pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.
• Flexibility to work varying hours based on seasonal and daily workload.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting, pushing, and pulling as part of the job.
• Valid G driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Safely pick up and deliver small agricultural, lawn & garden, landscaping, and construction equipment to customers.
• Perform periodic parts deliveries as required.
• Collect and handle Sales and Service invoices, contracts, and payments directly with customers during deliveries or pick-ups.
• Perform light maintenance duties including cleaning and detailing of equipment and supporting yard coordination activities.
• Maintain proper operation, maintenance, and cleanliness of delivery truck and trailer.
• Complete other associated tasks as assigned by management.
