Job summary

WJ Groundwater in Toronto is seeking a Regional Sales Leader to spearhead the development of a construction dewatering sales team across Eastern Canada. You will meet clients in person to discuss water-management needs and determine how to present compelling proposals, with the Technical team preparing the supporting designs and costings.

This role reports to the President of WJ Canada and offers growth as new services and geographies are added.

Qualifications

• Degree or graduate diploma in Marketing, Business Administration or similar.
• Proven experience in technical sales within civil construction, water management, or related sectors.
• Strong technical aptitude and interest in groundwater engineering principles.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with decision-makers.
• Willingness to grow with the company and lead a regional sales team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of a Canada-wide sales system for account executives.
• Meet clients in person to discuss water-management needs and proposals.
• Collaborate with the technical team to produce tailored bids and quotations.
• Design and implement strategic sales plans to grow the customer base.
• Maintain a sales pipeline, forecast results, and report progress monthly.
