Job summary

Nors Group is seeking a General Manager to lead and execute the company’s operations for all Branches in the Atlantic Region, reporting to the Eastern COO. This role drives profitable growth, builds strategic relationships, and ensures a coordinated approach to customers across Atlantic Canada.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Engineering, or related field; MBA is an asset.
• Significant senior leadership experience in construction, heavy equipment, industrial, transportation, or related industry.
• Proven experience managing accounts and complex customer relationships.
• Demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing sales and after-sales teams.
• Proven ability to develop and execute growth strategies and achieve revenue and profitability goals.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen; ability to manage budgets and forecasts.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
• Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across region and functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead Operations, including sales, aftersales, financials, staff management and customer alignment with strategic objectives.
• Establish executive-level relationships with OEMs, customers, and stakeholders.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with construction firms, government entities, and public-sector bodies.
• Oversee negotiations in line with company policies and procedures.
• Ensure consistent customer experience and commercial approach across the region.
• Drive revenue growth across equipment sales, rentals, parts, service and solutions.
• Develop account plans for strategic customers with revenue and growth targets.
• Monitor market trends and competitive activities; guide tender and procurement strategies.
