We provide a competitive compensation package that includes a base salary of $55,000‑$65,000 (commensurate with experience), performance‑based bonuses up to 10% of base salary, comprehensive benefits, administrative support and opportunities for professional growth. The Role

As a Regional Financial Advisor on the CU Wealth Essentials team, you will guide CU Financial Management members through their financial journey entirely virtually. You’ll focus on delivering superior customer service, adding value to our members and helping them achieve their financial goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively make and take calls from new and existing insurance and investment clients, providing holistic advice.
  • Service existing mutual fund accounts and open new accounts.
  • Seek opportunities for deeper engagements with members.
  • Fact‑find and ensure members’ needs are matched with the appropriate level of advice and service.
  • Provide members with a compelling virtual experience they will want to share with friends.
  • Collaborate with team members to bring forward new and innovative ideas.
  • Stay compliant and maintain an organized workplace and CRM.
Minimum Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
  • 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Bilingual in English and French an asset.
  • Valid Mutual Funds License in good standing and satisfy all eligibility criteria for CIRO‑MFD licensing.
  • Valid and active Life Insurance License or willingness to obtain within the first year of employment (paid for by CU Financial Management).
  • Strong knowledge and passion for financial planning.
  • Experience doing business over the phone and virtually.
  • Strong knowledge of the Mutual Fund Industry, Compliance and Dealer Operations practices.
  • Availability Monday to Friday between 9 am and 5 pm with occasional need for flexibility.
  • Occasional travel for team events as required.
