Job summary

Medavie Health Services New Brunswick in Blacks Harbour is seeking an Operations Manager, South Region, to lead staff and systems for ambulance service in the Blacks Harbour area. You will report to the Regional Director and drive performance, service delivery, and continuous improvement within EMS programs.

The ideal candidate has a paramedic background with leadership experience and strong IT, finance, and HR skills, plus NB Class 4 license.

Qualifications

Must have completed an approved paramedic training program and be registered in NB (or equivalent).
Minimum 5 years as a paramedic with at least 3 years in progressively responsible leadership.
Experience in EMS management, information technology, finance, and human resources.
Valid NB Class 4 driver’s license (or equivalent).
Able to exercise independent judgment and solve problems with discretion.
Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset.

Responsibilities

Direct and oversight for the workforce in the Blacks Harbour administrative area.
Share on-call coverage across required regions.
Ensure customer/patient service remains a priority and implement a resolution process.
Oversee recruitment and selection for site paramedic staff.
Demonstrate leadership, develop teams, and promote policy compliance.
