Join to apply for the Regional Director (Wholesaler) role at National Bank of Canada

We are actively seeking a locally based Regional Director to join our rapidly growing business. As a Regional Director (Wholesaler), you will play a pivotal role as a trusted partner and relationship manager, dedicated to promoting the comprehensive line of National Bank Investments (NBI) products to financial advisors in the Greater Montreal area. You will be required to travel 90% of the time.

Responsibilities
  1. Strengthen existing and prospect new advisor relationships using a disciplined approach to advisor coverage and focus timely & consistent messaging to advisors.
  2. Increase the number of advisors who do business with NBI.
  3. Work effectively with a team to achieve business development targets within your territory.
  4. Maintain regular contact with advisors through meetings and presentations.
  5. Provide sales ideas, product information, and market updates.
  6. Act as an ambassador of NBI.
  7. Assist in developing and managing territory business plans, focusing on successful advisors.
  8. Create and analyze sales and asset reports to identify opportunities.
  9. Participate in training programs to enhance performance and career development.
  10. Identify all risks inherent to Wealth Management activities.
Team and Reporting

Reporting to the Regional Vice President – Eastern Canada, collaborating with an Inside Sales Regional Associate to build relationships and achieve business objectives within your territory.

Basic Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in administration or related field with five years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with four years of relevant experience.
  2. Financial designation (IFIC, CSC, PFP, CIMA, CFA, or CSI Fellow) is an asset.
  3. Knowledge of the financial environment, especially the mutual fund industry.
  4. Experience in mutual funds and business development.
  5. Experience in coaching and training.
  6. Knowledge of budget and territory management.
  7. Excellent business development techniques.
  8. Strong communication and presentation skills in French & English; knowledge of additional languages is an asset.
