Job description

We’re Hiring a Regional Director

Previous operational leadership experience within the dental industry is required for this position.

Anytime Dental is looking for an experienced Regional Director to lead and support our dental clinics in the Hamilton region. We’re seeking a people-focused leader with a proven background in dental operations who understands the day-to-day realities of running successful clinics, developing strong Clinic Managers and driving business performance.

You’ll bring together leadership, business insight and hands-on operational support to make a meaningful impact across your region—creating exceptional experiences for patients and team members while supporting sustainable growth.

The Opportunity

Anytime Dental clinics are designed around accessibility and convenience, with extended hours, seven-day operations and same-day care that make it easier for patients to access the dentistry they need.

As Regional Director, you’ll work closely with Clinic Managers, Doctors and Support Office partners to strengthen leadership, improve performance and identify opportunities across your portfolio of Hamilton-region clinics.

This isn’t about managing clinics from a spreadsheet. It’s about being present in your clinics, understanding their businesses and developing leaders who can turn opportunities into action. Regular travel between clinics throughout the Hamilton region is an essential part of this role.

What Great Looks Like

You understand that strong regional performance starts with strong local leadership. You invest time in your Clinic Managers, coach them through challenges, build their confidence and hold them accountable for the results they own. You know when to step in, when to ask the right questions and when to empower your leaders to find the answer themselves.

You’re equally comfortable with the business side of dental operations. In this role, you will:

  • Develop strong leaders: Coach Clinic Managers to lead their teams, understand their businesses and take ownership of performance. Build succession plans and develop future leaders.
  • Turn insights into action: Review financial and operational results, identify trends and gaps, and translate KPIs into clear priorities and practical action plans.
  • Drive clinic performance: Support improvements in production, collections, scheduling, treatment acceptance, hygiene optimization, patient retention and profitability.
  • Deliver sustainable growth: Partner with clinic leaders to achieve budgets, annual plans and growth objectives while maintaining a strong patient experience.
  • Build engaged teams: Create a culture of accountability, collaboration and trust where people feel supported and understand what success looks like.
  • Partner with Doctors: Build trusted relationships with Doctors and clinical teams to align operational support with clinic needs and patient care.
  • Lead change: Help teams successfully adopt new programs, processes and ways of working, collaborating with Support Office partners to remove barriers and maintain momentum.

You don’t just ask whether a clinic hit its numbers. You want to understand why it did or didn’t—and coach the leader to know where to look next.

What You Bring

  • Required: Previous operational leadership experience within the dental industry, including direct responsibility for dental clinic operations, team leadership and business performance.
  • A strong understanding of dental clinic workflows and performance drivers, including scheduling, production, collections, treatment acceptance, hygiene optimization and patient retention.
  • A demonstrated track record of coaching Clinic Managers, developing leaders and building strong, engaged teams.
  • Strong business and financial acumen, with experience using KPIs, budgets and operational reporting to guide decisions and improve results.
  • The ability to identify business opportunities, prioritize effectively and translate plans into measurable results.
  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building and problem-solving skills, with confidence partnering with Doctors, Clinic Managers and Support Office teams.
  • The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on operational support in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Availability and flexibility to travel regularly between clinics throughout the Hamilton region.

Five or more years of progressive dental leadership experience and experience overseeing multiple clinics or locations is required.

Most importantly, you genuinely enjoy developing leaders. You understand that your success isn’t measured by how many problems you solve yourself—it’s measured by the strength of the leaders and teams you build around you.
