Job summary

Architecture49 is seeking a Regional Design Leader for the Quebec Region. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Quebec Region, and is responsible for establishing the creative vision and design objectives for all projects in the region.

You will lead design teams, work with clients to translate needs into innovative concepts, and ensure quality, budget, and schedule alignment. The position emphasizes leadership, collaboration across offices, and ongoing thought leadership in design.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture and licensed to practice in Quebec.
• More than 10 years of experience leading project design initiatives.
• Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated leadership experience.
• A working knowledge of English is required, as the incumbent will participate in initiatives outside Quebec, collaborate with colleagues across Canada, and contribute to projects and communications conducted in English.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the creative vision for regional projects.
• Lead design charrettes and present concepts to clients and other Architecture49 offices.
• Collaborate with Senior Manager and Regional Leaders on pursuit efforts and budgets.
• Oversee regional design quality, define design goals and milestones, and ensure schedules and budgets are met.
• Foster mentorship and development of design professionals within the region.
