Placements24 in Canada seeks a visionary Lead Architect to direct concept and design development for high-profile projects. This fully remote role leverages your senior leadership to guide design teams from vision to documentation.

You will mentor junior architects, ensure compliance with codes and sustainability goals, and collaborate with engineers, PMs, and clients. Portfolio and registration required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in architectural design, with significant experience leading projects.
• Professional Architect registration.
• Proven portfolio showcasing a range of successful and innovative architectural projects.
• Expertise in design software, including Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of building materials, construction methods, and sustainability principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design process from concept development through to detailed design documentation.
• Develop innovative and sustainable architectural solutions that meet client requirements and project briefs.
• Oversee and mentor junior architects and design teams, fostering a collaborative and creative environment.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant building codes, zoning regulations, and accessibility standards.
• Collaborate effectively with engineers, project managers, and clients to integrate all aspects of the design.
• Prepare and present design proposals, visualizations, and project documentation to stakeholders.
