Job summary

The Co-op Refinery Complex in Regina, SK is hiring a Refinery Operations Supervisor (Process Supervisor) on a permanent, on-site basis. You will lead a team of Process Operators, set clear objectives, coach for performance, and champion a strong safety culture to ensure reliable plant operations.

This role oversees boiler house and process operations, manages start-ups/shutdowns, staffing coverage, and continuous improvement across the refinery, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience in an industrial or production environment.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience.
• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; post-secondary training considered
• Power Engineering certification (minimum 4th class) is a strong asset
• Class 5 driver’s license in good standing
• On-scene Commander Training and Fire Brigade Leader Certificate preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead and empower a team of Process Operators with clear objectives and coaching.
• Oversee boiler house and process operations, including start-ups, shutdowns, adjustments, maintenance coordination, and staffing coverage.
• Foster a strong safety culture, ensure compliance with policies and standards, and lead emergency response activities when required.
• Coordinate process staffing schedules for nights, weekends and holidays.
• Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement through cross-functional collaboration and proactive communication.
