CAD Railway Industries Ltd. is an ambitious Quebec-based company that has been in operation for over 60 years. We specialize in the repair, conversion, and refurbishment of rolling railway equipment (various types of wagons and locomotives) with workshops and offices in Montreal (Lachine sector) and Alberta (under the Caltrax banner).
Over the years, our mission has evolved to become a responsible company dedicated to repairing and extending the lifespan of the equipment entrusted to us by our clients. In many cases, we modernize these assets, essentially giving them a second life.
Our teams design equipment that meets the needs of clients operating in both freight and passenger transport sectors.
Reporting to the Mechanical Department Manager, the Technical Writer will be responsible for researching and writing technical procedures and related documentation. This includes standard procedures, refurbishment of used railway equipment, and manufacturing of new products.
This will be achieved using various methods while ensuring compliance with industry norms, standards, regulations, and internal specifications and processes.
