Qualifications

• Red Seal Certificate is required.
• Proven experience as roofing foreman or similar leadership role.
• In-depth knowledge of roofing systems, materials and construction techniques.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols.
• Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Project Planning: Collaborate with project managers to understand project specifications, timelines, and requirements.
• Leadership and Supervision: Lead and supervise a team of roofing workers, assigning tasks and responsibilities.
• Quality Control: Ensure that roofing installations meet quality standards and adhere to industry best practices.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce and promote strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
• Resource Management: Manage and allocate resources efficiently, including materials, equipment, and manpower.
• Communication: Maintain open communication with project managers and report progress.
• Problem Solving: Identify and address issues that arise during the roofing project.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work hours, materials used, and other project-related data.
