Job summary

Strathmore Ford in Strathmore, Alberta is seeking a Red Seal Automotive Service Technician to join our fast-paced, customer-focused service team. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles to OEM standards, working closely with Service Advisors to ensure accurate communication and timely service.

This role offers a sign-on bonus up to $5,000 for qualified candidates, opportunities for ongoing OEM training, a benefits package, and a supportive environment under the Kaizen Automotive Group.

Qualifications

• Red Seal Certified required.
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills.
• Ability to use OEM diagnostic tools and scanners.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on vehicles following OEM guidelines and safety standards.
• Conduct inspections, identify repair needs, and provide accurate documentation for repair orders.
• Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues using OEM certified equipment.
• Complete warranty repairs in accordance with OEM requirements and documentation standards.
• Collaborate with Service Advisors to communicate repair needs, timelines, and findings.
• Mentor apprentices or junior technicians as assigned by the Service Manager.
