Job summary

IPG, a global leader in packaging and protective solutions, seeks a Red Seal Industrial Electrician for our Truro, NS facility. You will troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and install components across a range of machinery under supervision.

This on-site role offers 12-hour shifts, weekly pay, and full benefits. Starting wage is $41.17/hour, with progression for shift premiums. Bring 3+ years of Red Seal experience and a proactive, detail-focused mindset to IPG.

Qualifications

• Red Seal Industrial Electrician certification (3+ years preferred).
• Strong control systems knowledge including Allen Bradley controllers and VFDs.
• Excellent troubleshooting and planning skills.
• Proactive, detail-focused approach in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment and electrical systems.
• Install electrical/electronic components across machinery.
• Perform minor mechanical repairs.
• Use computerized maintenance system for work orders, parts tracking, and history.
• Work closely with supervisor and collaborate on additional tasks as needed.
