Job summary

Intertape Polymer Group (IPG) is seeking an Electrical Engineer focusing on reliability to join our Truro, NS team. You will ensure plant equipment reliability, troubleshoot electrical issues, and support maintenance with strong safety and efficiency standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, hands-on experience with PLCs and control systems, and the ability to mentor engineers-in-training.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience in plant equipment maintenance and reliability.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including PLCs, motors, and control systems.
  • Experience with electrical troubleshooting.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in electrical engineering.

Responsibilities
