Job summary

IPG in Truro, NS is seeking a Red Seal Industrial Electrician to keep our manufacturing systems running at peak performance.

You will troubleshoot and repair equipment, install electrical components across a wide range of machinery, perform minor mechanical work, and use our computerised maintenance system to manage work orders, parts history, and select tasks with your supervisor.

We offer a competitive wage, benefits, and a 12-hour shift schedule with 8:00 AM–8:00 PM rotations.

Qualifications

• Red Seal Industrial Electrician certification (3+ years preferred).
• Strong control systems knowledge (Allen Bradley controllers, VFDs).
• Excellent troubleshooting and planning skills.
• Proactive, detail-focused approach in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment and electrical systems.
