Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience driving with DZ licence OR an AZ graduate from an accredited driving school.
• Able to successfully pass a background check including medical/drug test.

Responsibilities

• Operate waste collection/recycling vehicle and load materials.
• Conduct pre and post trip inspections.
• Ensure routes are completed safely and on time.

Job description

Job Duties:

• Operate waste collection/recycling vehicle; curbside manual side load
• Load curbside materials into the truck
• Observe safe work practices
• Provide excellent customer service in accordance with company policies
• Ensure assigned routes are successfully completed in a timely and safe manner
• Conduct pre and post trip inspections and complete Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports

Requirements:

• Valid Ontario DZ driver’s licence with a clean drivers abstract and CVOR
• Minimum one year experience driving with DZ licence OR an AZ graduate from an accredited driving school
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Able to successfully pass a background check including an MTO medical/drug test, criminal history search, license verification, and employment confirmation
• Punctual, reliable, team player

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $25.44 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
