Job summary

IS2 Workforce Solutions in Edmonton, AB is seeking a driven Recruitment Specialist to join our fast-paced team. You will source, interview, and place top talent while building strong client relationships and delivering exceptional service.

This role requires a post-secondary education, proven recruitment experience, and the ability to thrive in a target-driven environment. You’ll travel to client sites and collaborate with marketing and cross-functional teams to support hiring initiatives.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education required.
• Proven experience as a recruiter; light industrial experience is a strong asset.
• Strong understanding of recruitment processes and candidate evaluation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal English).
• Customer service/recruitment experience (minimum 1 year).
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruitment tools.
• Must have access to a reliable vehicle for client visits and check-ins.

Responsibilities

• Source, attract, and recruit top talent using various methods and tools.
• Conduct pre-screens, interviews, and candidate assessments.
• Manage full-cycle recruitment, from intake to placement and onboarding.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates.
• Coordinate and conduct employee orientations, check-ins, and ongoing support.
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with all requirements.
• Communicate regularly with clients to understand hiring needs and provide updates.
• Participate in client site visits and tours to better support recruitment efforts.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, to support hiring initiatives.
• Handle employee relations, including assignment follow-ups and issue resolution.

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (flexibility required for check-ins)
