Job summary

Morgan Construction & Environmental Ltd in Edmonton is seeking a Recruitment Coordinator to support onboarding of 40+ new hires and ensure compliance by their start date. The role reports to the Lead Recruitment Coordinator and emphasizes a strong customer-service approach throughout onboarding.

You will manage candidate profiles, coordinate training and safety documentation, and work closely with Field Recruiters to minimize risks to onboarding timelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in HR administration and/or recruitment.
• Experience in a high-volume construction environment would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Successfully manage onboarding of 40+ new hires at one time.
• Develop and maintain relationships with employees with a service-focused approach.
• Set up new candidate profiles and assign training/orientations; collect safety tickets and documentation; update tracking systems.
• Collaborate with Field Recruiters to ensure clear communication on candidate status and risks.
• Maintain accurate candidate information in iCIMS and Bistrainer, logging all communications.
• Uphold Morgan values and participate in weekend on-call rotation.

About the Role:

The Recruitment Coordinator based in Edmonton and reporting to the Lead Recruitment Coordinator, will play a vital role in the onboarding of top talent to our organization contributing to the success of our organization by building a talented and engaged workforce. This position encompasses working closely with new hires throughout their onboarding process to ensure that they are compliant by their intended travel date.

What You’ll Do:

• Successfully manage new hire onboarding of up to 40+ employees at one time.

• Develop and maintain relationships with employees, providing an exceptional customer service focused approach with touchpoints throughout the onboarding experience.

• Setting up new candidate profiles and assigning training and other orientations, collecting all required safety tickets and documentation, and updating tracking systems.

• Working closely with assigned Field Recruiter(s) to ensure clear communication on candidate status and identifying any risks to onboarding progress.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate information in our applicant tracking system iCIMS and training system Bistrainer, documenting all communication and status updates.

• Understand and believe in Morgan values and Pillars of Excellence, consistently demonstrating alignment through everyday actions and able to ascertain best fit for the company based on candidates own values and beliefs.
• will be part of the weekend on call rotation with the rest of the team.

What You Bring:

Required:

• High school diploma.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in HR administration and/or recruitment would be considered an asset.
• Experience in a high-volume construction environment would be beneficial.
