Teck Resources’ Highland Valley Copper is seeking a Recruitment Coordinator to support full-cycle hiring across operations, trades and professional roles at the site near Logan Lake, BC.

You will partner with hiring managers to deliver timely hiring outcomes, maintain a strong candidate experience, and align with Teck's values and ethics. This is a pursuit of sustained demand with an emphasis on quality and speed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 2+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience in industrial/mining/high-volume environments.
• Experience recruiting for operations, trades, technical, and professional roles.
• Experience using applicant tracking systems; Xref or similar platforms is an asset.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence at all levels.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• CPHR designation or progress toward designation is an asset.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for staff and unionized positions, ensuring timely placements.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements and create engaging postings.
• Source and attract candidates through HRIS, social media, recruitment platforms and campaigns.
• Screen applicants, coordinate interviews, and present qualified shortlists to hiring teams.
• Facilitate reference checks, pre-employment medicals, and onboarding with third-party providers.
• Prepare and deliver offer letters and maintain candidate records in the HRIS.
• Partner with Corporate Recruitment and Talent Acquisition for alignment and co-op hiring.
• Support inclusive hiring by engaging with local Indigenous communities and organizations.
• Ensure recruitment activities comply with employment law, collective agreements, and Teck's Code of Ethics.
• Represent HVC at career fairs and events; support onboarding and maintain recruitment tools.
