Job summary

ParaMed is seeking a proactive Recruiter to attract, screen, and hire qualified candidates across our healthcare-focused teams. You will develop sourcing strategies, manage postings in our ATS, and partner with hiring leaders to deliver a positive candidate experience.

You will review applications, conduct prescreening interviews, and coordinate interviews, while maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders and candidates to support ongoing talent pipelines.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in high-volume recruitment.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment practices and ATS usage.
  • Proactive candidate sourcing and talent pipeline development.
  • Healthcare recruitment experience is an asset.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Candidate-focused, professional service mindset.
  • Collaborative with hiring leaders and internal stakeholders.

Job Description As an integral member of the Talent Acquisition team, the Recruiter is responsible for attracting, assessing, and hiring qualified candidates to support the organization’s workforce needs. The Recruiter will develop and execute effective recruitment strategies, leveraging a variety of sourcing channels and innovative recruitment tactics to build strong, qualified talent pipelines. Through strong relationship‑building and collaboration, the Recruiter will partner closely with hiring leaders, candidates, and internal stakeholders to deliver an effective and consistent recruitment experience while ensuring a continuous pipeline of talent.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage, upload, monitor, and track job postings within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Identify and leverage strategic sourcing opportunities and participate in community and recruitment events
  • Review and assess applications to identify qualified candidates
  • Conduct prescreening interviews and assess candidates against position requirements
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with Hiring Leaders and participate in interviews as required
  • Maintain consistent and professional communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, hiring leaders, and key internal partners
  • Monitor recruitment activity, review reports, and analyze data to achieve recruitment targets
  • Contribute to continuous improvements in recruitment processes, practices, and candidate experience
What You Bring
  • Post-secondary education, preferably in Human Resources or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in high-volume recruitment
  • Strong working knowledge of recruitment and selection practices and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Demonstrated experience with proactive candidate sourcing and talent pipeline development
  • Healthcare recruitment experience is considered an asset
  • Proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship‑building skills
  • Strong customer service skills with a professional and candidate‑focused approach
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to build effective partnerships with hiring leaders and internal stakeholders
  • A genuine passion for making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and communities
