Job summary

ParaMed Home Health Care in Markham, Ontario is seeking a skilled Recruiter to attract, assess, and hire qualified candidates to support our growing healthcare team. You will develop and execute creative sourcing strategies, manage postings in the ATS, prescreen applicants, coordinate interviews with hiring leaders, and ensure a consistent, candidate-focused recruitment experience.

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in high-volume recruitment.

  • Experience in healthcare recruitment is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, upload, monitor, and track job postings in the ATS.
  • Identify and leverage strategic sourcing opportunities; participate in community events.
  • Review and assess applications to identify qualified candidates.
  • Conduct prescreening interviews and assess candidates against requirements.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with Hiring Leaders; participate as required.
  • Maintain consistent, professional communication with candidates throughout the process.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor recruitment activity, reviews reports, and analyze data to meet targets.
  • Contribute to continuous improvements in recruitment processes and candidate experience.

Job Description

As an integral member of the Talent Acquisition team, the Recruiter is responsible for attracting, assessing, and hiring qualified candidates to support the organization’s workforce needs. The Recruiter will develop and execute effective recruitment strategies, leveraging a variety of sourcing channels and innovative recruitment tactics to build strong, qualified talent pipelines. Through strong relationship-building and collaboration, the Recruiter will partner closely with hiring leaders, candidates, and internal stakeholders to deliver an effective and consistent recruitment experience while ensuring a continuous pipeline of talent.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage, upload, monitor, and track job postings within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)

  • Review and assess applications to identify qualified candidates
  • Conduct prescreening interviews and assess candidates against position requirements
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with Hiring Leaders and participate in interviews as required
  • Maintain consistent and professional communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, hiring leaders, and key internal partners
  • Monitor recruitment activity, review reports, and analyze data to achieve recruitment targets
  • Contribute to continuous improvements in recruitment processes, practices, and candidate experience
What You Bring
  • Post-secondary education, preferably in Human Resources or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in high-volume recruitment
  • Strong working knowledge of recruitment and selection practices and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Demonstrated experience with proactive candidate sourcing and talent pipeline development
  • Healthcare recruitment experience is considered an asset
  • Proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong customer service skills with a professional and candidate-focused approach
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to build effective partnerships with hiring leaders and internal stakeholders
  • A genuine passion for making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and communities
