Job summary

ParaMed is seeking a Pediatric RPN to deliver in-home nursing across the Burlington area. You will provide compassionate pediatric care, perform assessments, and execute care plans for patients with complex palliative needs in home settings.

The role emphasizes autonomy, travel to patient residences within a designated area, and collaboration with a team of nurses and supervisors. Children experience is mandatory and on-call coverage is required to ensure patient safety.

Qualifications

  • Registration with the CNO as a Registered Nurse in good standing.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is required.
  • Experience in delivering community care is an asset.
  • Reliability and flexibility.
  • Willingness to travel to and from patient residences within a designated area.
  • Passion for making a difference in your community.
  • Required on-call coverage, including after hours to ensure patient safety and to meet patient care needs.

Job Description In this community Pediatric RN Shift Nursing role, as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) you will have scheduled visits to care for patients in various settings. You will work with patients of all ages with differing complexity of palliative care needs and play a key role in helping patients remain comfortable in their homes for as long as possible. Experience with children is mandatory for this position.
