Job summary

ComForCare Home Care is seeking a Recruiter to serve as the initial contact point for candidates, developing effective recruitment strategies driven by data, managing the ATS, and maintaining job postings.

You will communicate daily with applicants, source candidates across social media, job fairs and referrals, conduct interviews, coordinate with hiring managers, and ensure compliant onboarding while supporting a respectful, growth‑oriented workplace culture.

Qualifications

  • 3-4 years of recruitment experience, preferably high-volume
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Responsibilities

  • Develop data-driven recruitment strategies
  • Manage and maintain the ATS (CareerPlug)
  • Maintain job advertisements
  • Communicate with applicants daily and move them through hiring
  • Leverage reporting to track recruitment trends
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for caregiving and office staff
  • Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, fairs
  • Screen resumes and conduct phone/virtual interviews
  • Coordinate interviews with hiring managers
  • Verify credentials, certifications, references, background checks
  • Ensure compliance with policies and employment standards
  • Prepare offers and coordinate onboarding
  • Maintain applicant tracking records and recruitment reports
  • Develop recruitment strategies to meet staffing targets
  • Support employee retention and positive candidate experience

What We Are Looking For
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate
  • 3-4 years of experience in a recruitment role (preferably high-volume recruitment).
  • Demonstrated strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
What You Will Be Doing
  • Participate in the development of successful, data-driven recruitment strategies
  • Manage and maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) (CareerPlug)
  • Maintain job advertisements
  • Communicate with applicants daily, reviewing new applicants and moving them through the hiring process
  • Leverage reporting to track recruitment trends and adapt our recruitment strategy appropriately
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for caregiving and office staff.
  • Source candidates through job boards, social media, employee referrals, career fairs, and community partnerships.
  • Screen resumes and conduct phone and virtual interviews.
  • Coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
  • Verify credentials, certifications, references, and background checks.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and employment standards.
  • Prepare employment offers and coordinate onboarding activities.
  • Maintain applicant tracking records and recruitment reports.
  • Develop recruitment strategies to meet staffing targets
