Qualifications

• Experience with outdoor activities required (kayaking, canoeing, biking, hiking).
• Experience with children required.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification required.
• Pleasure Craft Operators Card and Pro Serve certification required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of Pool, hot tub, Kids Rooms, Gymnasium, Recreation areas.
• Responsible for management of all revenues during shift from rentals.
• Assist with planning and leading children’s programs.

Job Description

Fostering the health and wellbeing of our guests, visitors and Colleagues is an integral part of our The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge's culture. Whether our Guests are swimming, boating, biking, or using the fitness center, the thoughtful attention you provide as a Recreation Attendant (Supervisor) will make them feel welcome and valued.

Starting Rate of pay: $17.33 per hour

Your Job Duties Include

• Maintain cleanliness of Pool, hot tub, Kids, Games Rooms, Gymnasium, Recreation areas including health club thermal area, Change Rooms, and the Boathouse
• Responsible for float and management of all revenues during shift from rentals of equipment and sales of merchandise
• Conduct and enhance departmental orientation and training for all new Recreation Colleagues
• Assist with planning, organizing and leading children’s programs and Kids Camp for conference, and hotel package groups
• Assist with weekly Departmental audits
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

• Experience with outdoor activities – kayaking, canoeing, biking, and hiking required
• Experience with children required
• Current First Aid and CPR certification required
• Pleasure Craft Operators Card required
• Pro Serve certification required
• Previous supervisory experience preferred

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
