Lakeview Recovery Community, located 45 minutes NW of Edmonton in Gunn, AB, seeks a Behavioural Health Navigator to provide individual and group counseling in a compassionate setting. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to tailor treatment plans that promote long-term wellness and recovery for men.

Responsibilities include facilitating psychoeducational groups, supporting programming, maintaining accurate records, and ongoing professional development while upholding the Therapeutic

Qualifications

• Education in counselling, human services, social sciences, or a related field, or working towards preferred.
• Experience in supportive, community-based or recovery-oriented environments is an asset.
• Strong interest in addiction recovery and behavioural health services.

Responsabilités

• Provide individual and group counseling to clients struggling with addiction.
• Develop personalized treatment plans with clients and support recovery journey.
• Support recovery programming and collaborate with program team.
• Maintain confidential records of assessments, progress notes, and plans.
• Engage in supervision, mentorship, and professional development.
• Respond to client distress using de-escalation strategies and seek senior support as needed.
