At Beccarian Correctional Care, we implement and operate therapeutic and recovery-oriented programs within correctional settings. Our mission is to reduce criminal and medical recidivism, build recovery capital, and enhance rehabilitation through innovative Care Models tailored to complex needs.
We provide structured Therapeutic Living Units (TLUs) and Transitional Service (TS) programs throughout Alberta, supporting individuals with vocational training, family reintegration, and relapse prevention strategies. By building recovery capital, we empower members to achieve lasting recovery and fulfilling lives.
We are currently seeking a Recovery Coach to join our team in the Therapeutic Living Units (TLUs). TLUs function as Therapeutic Communities within correctional environments, offering individuals the opportunity to engage in evidence-based care for substance use disorders. As a Recovery Coach, you will play an integral role in supporting the "community as method" model. Working collaboratively with members, you will engage in activities such as group sessions, recreation, and community responsibilities—emphasizing peer-based support and modeling positive recovery behaviors.
