Treasury Board and Finance – Tax and Revenue Administration (TRA) is responsible for the collection of revenue and the administration of Alberta’s tax, revenue, and related benefit programs. The focus of our organization is to ensure a fair, efficient, and effective provincial tax and revenue system.
Reporting to the Paralegal Administrative Supervisor, the Recoveries and Legal Administrative Assistant provides legal enforcement and recovery services to many programs and ministries across the Government of Alberta.
Your overall responsibilities will require you to have excellent multi-tasking skills, as it is essential for you to balance the various aspects of the position. You must be a self-motivated team player that uses your communication skills and problem-solving abilities to resolve issues often of a sensitive nature.
A High School Diploma and three years’ related experience in business administration with knowledge of the Alberta Rules of Court, civil court procedures, and legislation pertaining to civil litigation in a collection’s environment. Excellent computer skills including full working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams is essential.

This is a permanent, full-time position working 36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday. This recruitment may be used to fill multiple vacancies. Final candidates for this position will be asked to undergo a Level 1 security screening.
