Receptionist / Marketing Assistant - Rachel Mah Poy Insurance & Financial Services

Location : 340 Midpark Way SE Suite 320 Calgary AB

Type : Full Time – Monday- Friday 9 : 00am to 5 : 00pm

Position Overview :

We are an Independently owned Desjardins Insurance Agency that is passionate about hard work, determination, and bettering our clients' lives. We are looking to grow our well trusted & top producing team. If you are ambitious, sales oriented, and customer centric, we are interested in you.

Join us in helping our clients & community protect both who & what they love and bounce back from life's emergencies.

Responsibilities :

  • Help our clients with accuracy, thoroughness, & "wow factor" service.
  • Direct all incoming calls appropriately.
  • Complete daily administrative tasks such as billing, claims connections, annual review emails, etc.
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly servicing for existing clients personal lines insurance plans (auto and property insurance servicing).
  • Able to help clients understand the need for Life and Health insurance and successfully book their Life and Health insurance Review appointment with our expert team.
  • Complete daily lead generation activities.
  • Complete daily outboud call volume (both cold & warm calls) - 60 daily.
  • Complete weekly new business introductions.

Requirements :

  • 1 year experience in reception / administrative work (required)
  • General Level 1 Insurance License -(preferred / ability to attain)
  • Cold Call experience (preferred)
  • Excellent communication, written, verbal and listening skills
  • Self-motivated, goal oriented and enthusiastic
  • Diligent and hardworking
  • Proactive in problem solving
